Christmas Eve at the Cavanaugh household. The house wasn't completely ready but it was okay. We still need a lot of finishing touches but it was nice to have our family over for Christmas in our new house. Sorcha made a fantastic roast beef with yorkshire pudding. My favorite meal all year. Her parents, her brother and sister and my parents were all here to celebrate. It was a great time. Thomas received a great wooden crane from his Aunt Brittany and Uncle Eli. And if you couldn't tell from the photo, he loved it. It was one of two presents he received tonight. The other was a fantastic wooden play treehouse from his Gigi. You can see that at the end of the movie below. He was quickly using the new crane to lift things up to the treehouse. Very cute... Here are some pictures I took. I hope everyone had a very Merry Christmas!

Chuy's Annual Christmas Parade
As I continue to catch up with some blog posting... Last November, Sorcha, Gigi, Thomas and I spent the morning downtown for the Annual Chuy's Christmas parade. It was Thomas' first "real" parade. He did attend a neighborhood July 4th parade last year, but I think the parade actually traveled a total of 100 yards. He loved the floats, the antique cars and the big huge balloons. He really loved the marching bands. The drumming was very exciting. Here's a link to all the pictures. I've also included a quick movie from the parade.
